Kyra, Financial Coordinator
Simpsonville
Kyra has been a team member of Tylan Creek Family Dentistry since 2005. She attended Greenville Technical College for medical coding. Kyra is from Augusta, GA, and is a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan! Kyra loves and appreciates her patients and loves the bond she shares with them and her coworkers.
Kyra has a wonderful husband, two children: a daughter and a son, and two dogs -- Tybee and Georgia. When not at work, Kyra enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, working out, and reading.
Amy, Registered Dental Hygienist/ Department Head
Simpsonville
Amy has over 25 years of experience in dentistry and has been here at Tylan Creek Family Dentistry since 2012. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and attended the University of Pittsburgh. Amy has additional training in the Philips ZOOM Whitening System and is CPR/AED certified. She loves being around her coworkers, as well as helping patients achieve and maintain healthy mouths.
Amy has a loud, crazy family, including twins. When she isn’t busy at the dental office, she enjoys gardening, landscaping, and hiking. She has lived in five states and practiced dentistry in four of them!
Kala, Registered Dental Hygienist
Simpsonville
Kala joined our staff in 2016, though she has been in the dental field since 2009. She received her associate degree in applied science (Dental Hygiene) from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL. Kala also has her certification for CPR/AED and advanced training in the Philips ZOOM Whitening System. What she enjoys most about her job is being able to help patients smile more.
Kala is originally from Farmington, IL. She is married with a daughter, Charlotte, a son, Camden, and a loveable lab mix, Murphy. Her family is very fun and laid-back, and they all enjoy spending time together whenever possible. Her other hobbies include running, camping, hiking, and going to the beach. And… she can lick her elbow! Try it, I bet you can’t!
Sarah, Certified Dental Assistant/Lab Coordinator
Simpsonville
Sarah is originally from North Augusta, SC, and started at our dental office in 2017. She says the best thing about her job is getting to meet so many interesting people and being able to help them care for their smiles. Sarah attended Greenville Technical College and is certified in CPR/AED and nitrous oxide monitoring. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys cooking, sewing, and painting. She can also play the piano!
Madison, Registered Dental Hygienist
Simpsonville
Madison joined our team in June 2018 and is relatively new to the dental field. She says one of the best things about her job is the amazing people she works with every day. Originally from Aiken, SC, Madison has her bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of South Carolina and earned her dental hygiene certification from Midlands Technical College. Madison enjoys being with her friends and family, spending time outdoors (whether in the mountains or by water), and live concerts!
Jessica, Certified Dental Assistant

Jess has 7 years of experience in dentistry and enjoys helping patients calm down and seeing how happy they are when they achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. Jess grew up in Powdersville and Seneca and attended Tri-County Technical College. As a dental assistant, Jess is certified in nitrous oxide, as well as CPR/AED. In her free time, Jess enjoys hanging out with her 3 dogs, being by the water, and trying new foods. Next time you see her, ask Jess whether or not she can carry a tune!
Lauren, Dental Assistant
Simpsonville
Originally from Orlando, FL, Lauren first joined our team in 2015. She attended Greenville Technical College and loves both the people she works with and the ones she treats. Lauren is also CPR/AED certified.
Lauren married in October 2017, and she and her husband recently welcomed their baby girl, Miller, and have a beautiful golden retriever, Charlie. Lauren has an energetic, crazy, and very loud family. Her hobbies include baking, doing outdoor activities, and traveling.
Angela, Dental Hygienist
Powdersville
Angela has more than 25 years of dental experience and has been with our team for a very long time. She is a native of Lynchburg, and she is a graduate of Virginia Western Community College; she has earned a registered dental hygiene degree. She thinks of our office as her home away from home, and she’s grateful for the people she gets to help every day as well as the team she works with!
Angela’s family includes her husband, her daughter, and her dog. In her spare time, she likes to take walks, go on weekend trips to the mountains or the beach, and spend time with her family. She is also involved with the youth group and teen girls at her local church.
Jessica, Treatment Coordinator and Dental Assistant

Jessica has more than two decades of dental experience. She was born in South Carolina and went to Wake Technical Community College. She spent years as a clinical assistant before eventually transitioning to the front desk, which gave her a chance to see a different side of dentistry. She’s happy that her role as Treatment Coordinator allows her to do both jobs that she loves; in fact, according to her, it doesn’t feel like a job at all!
Jessica has enjoyed over two decades of marriage with her husband Jonathon, and together they have two children as well as a Golden Retriever named Finn. Outside of the dental office, Jessica likes to spend time with her family, garden, and go traveling
Chloe, Dental Assistant

A native of Powdersville, Chloe has been in the dental field for over a decade and is proud to currently be a part of our team. She’ll gladly tell you that her coworkers and the doctors at our practice are the best!
Chloe has a daughter, and she spends much of her time outside of the office being a mom. A fun fact about her is that she’s half Dutch
Melinda, Dental Assistant

Melinda’s dental career spans more than 40 years, and she’s happy to currently be a part of our dental team. She hails from Bennettsville, and she earned her dental education at Florence-Darlington Technical College. One of her favorite parts of her job is being able to help patients enjoy beautiful smiles.
Melinda has two wonderful children. She likes going to the beach and spending time with her family when she has the chance. A fun fact about her? She is the baby out of five siblings, and she happens to be left-handed just like her father and oldest sister!
Bailey, Sterilization Tech

Bailey joined our team in 2024. She is originally from Piedmont, and she has studied dentistry at Greenville Technical College. According to her, the best part of working at our practice is the chance to meet and help people while also learning new things every day!
Bailey is part of a blended family and is the youngest child of three. Outside of the office, she loves to go shopping and spend time with her loved ones. She also plays volleyball; in fact, she sometimes helps coach at Powdersville Middle School
Stephanie, Practice Administrator

Stephanie hails from the Greenville area and attended Southern Wesleyan University for her education, earning a degree in early childhood/family studies. As part of our dental family, she really enjoys meeting all of the patients and helping them love their smiles again! She also feels lucky to spend time alongside such wonderful coworkers.
Today, Stephanie lives in Pelzer with her fiancé (who is her college sweetheart). In her spare time, she loves spending time with her loved ones, reading, and watching movies. An interesting fact about her: there is a picture of her on the side of Greenville High School’s bus!

Tasha, Public Relations Specialist & Treatment Coordinator

With over two decades of experience in dentistry, Tasha has been with our dental office for a while -- and she says the best thing about her job is that she gets paid to talk! She is originally from Williamston, SC, and attended the Greenville Technical College Dental Assisting Program.
Tasha married her high school sweetheart, and they have two wonderful children together. Outside of dentistry, Tasha enjoys fishing, reading, and traveling. When asked to share a fun fact about herself, she said, “I was born with a tooth, and it did not fall out until I was 5!”
Alyssa, Certified Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator

Alyssa has always called Greenwood home. She first joined the Tylan Creek Family Dentistry team in October 2018, and she loves being able to serve the community that she grew up in so directly, as well as working alongside an amazing group of people every day! She attended Greenville Technical College for her education; she is also certified in both CPR and dental assisting.
At home, Alyssa and her husband have two children, a three-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy. She absolutely loves spending her evenings and weekends with them, especially when it’s by the pool or on the lake. Here’s a fun fact about her: she knew she wanted to work in the dental field ever since she was a little girl!
Andrea, Dental Assistant

Andrea has been an important member of our team for more than three years now, and she started dental assisting at the age of 17! To this day, she is passionate about helping each patient in her treatment chair. Plus, working alongside her passionate work family makes her job all the more rewarding.
Andrea and her husband got married in 2018, and they have a two-year-old son named Andrew. She absolutely loves spending as much time as she can with her family, but she also makes time for other hobbies, including attending her local church. Here’s something you might not know about her: she can speak, read, and write Spanish.
Tonia Ashley, Dental Hygienist

Like many of our talented team members, Tonia’s experience in the dental field spans several decades. She studied at Greenville Technical College, and she is now a registered dental hygienist with a license for anesthesia. If that wasn’t impressive enough, she also has her nitrous oxide certification! Through and through, her favorite part of her job is helping people obtain optimal oral health with thorough cleanings and helpful recommendations.
Jenny, Practice Administrator

A Greenville native, Jenny joined our team almost two years ago now. Throughout her career, she has genuinely enjoyed being able to help others and assist her coworkers throughout the day however she can.
Jenny and her high school sweetheart found their way back together after 15 years, and they have been married for 17 years now! They each have an adult son as well as two precious grandboys. When she isn’t with her family, some of her favorite things to do with her time are doing yardwork and hanging out with her sweet boxer bulldog.
Katya, Dental Assistant
Greenwood
In addition to attending Kryviy Rih National University in Ukraine, Katya completed on-the-job training and earned her certification in dental radiology. As a result, she has experience in everything from root canals to prosthetic teeth! Still, her favorite part of her job is serving people by helping restore their smiles – it never stops being rewarding.
Katya is happily married, and she has a passion for languages! She absolutely loves traveling, discovering new places to visit, and reading books in English, Russian, and Spanish. She is also a talented artist!
Lori, Dental Hygienist
Greenwood
Lori graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2004 with an associate degree in dental hygiene. Now, she is certified in CPR, first aid, and nitrous oxide, and she has two decades of experience in the dental field! She joined our team in 2023 and loves getting to know each patient while also working alongside the best coworkers.
Lori and her husband have two sons who are 16 and 11. Since they live on a farm, they get to spend lots of time outdoors, which they love. Here’s a fun fact about her: she is a “multiple sneezer” – her personal record is 13 in a row!
Megan, Treatment Coordinator and Dental Assistant

With 6 years of experience in the dental field, Megan joined our Greenwood dental team. She is originally from Clinton, SC, and she graduated from Clinton High School before going on to earn her X-ray certification. Today, her favorite part of her job is interacting with patients and hearing their stories!
Megan married her best friend, Evan, in 2020. As for hobbies, she loves going to the beach in the summer, hanging out with loved ones, and shopping. Here’s something that might surprise you: she lives on a family farm!
Allie, Practice Administrator

Allie is actually from Richmond, VA! She chose to complete her studies at Kaplan University, and she loves using everything she learned to help others smile. In fact, a saying she lives by is “one smile can start a friendship,” and she finds it rewarding to experience that each day at Tylan Creek Family Dentistry.
Allie and her adventure buddy/husband have three children and three labs at home. She loves spending time with family, crafting, and being outdoors (especially in the fall). Here’s something you might not know about her: she was previously a 911 dispatcher!
Liz, Sterilization Tech

Lizbeth started her dental career with us, and she deeply enjoys being part of such a skilled and supportive team that gives its best to each other as well as our patients. She is currently studying to become a dental hygienist!
Originally from Greenwood, Lizbeth likes to relax by reading, watching movies, and going on walks with her dogs, Benji and Bella.
