As a dental professional for more than 30 years, Dr. Halbert graduated from Clemson University before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. With advanced training in dental trauma, dental implants, sleep medicine, and aesthetic dentistry, he has spent thousands of hours giving back to the community by volunteering at the Greenville Free Medical/Dental Clinic and the Children’s Dental Clinic. He also provides free-of-charge dentistry for individuals who are less fortunate and educates school children on the importance of good dental health.

Dr. Joshua Burns

Entering the field of dentistry in 2008, Dr. Burns completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. As one of the university’s student team’s dentists, he received valuable training in sports dentistry and dental trauma. He not only strives to build strong, trusting, and lasting relationships with his patients, but he also remains devoted to helping those individuals with dental anxiety overcome their fears and look at dental care in a new and exciting way.

Dr. Billy Forrester

Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Dr. Forrester’s passion for dentistry started at a young age. Earning his bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from College of Charleston, he went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Enjoying being able to serve his community through volunteer work, you will often find him at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic helping patients achieve healthier smiles.

Dr. Lancen Halbert

Earning his bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University, he went on to achieve his dental degree at The Medical University of South Carolina. With advanced training in CEREC dentistry, direct resin cosmetic treatment, and surgical implantology, Dr. Halbert remains on the cutting edge of technology by expanding his knowledge and skills through continuing education. Committed to providing honest, ethical, and quality dental care, he goes above and beyond to exceed patient expectations.

Dr. Abbie Coleman

Joining the Tylan Creek Family Dentistry team in 2018, Dr. Coleman completed her undergraduate degree at Clemson University before studying dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then went on to complete a two-year general practice residency program through the Dental College of Georgia. She also has advanced training in implant dentistry, conscious sedation, and multidisciplinary, comprehensive dental care. Through her commitment to creating lasting relationships with her patients, she provides tips on how to take better care of their oral health and hygiene.
