Dr. Halbert returned home to begin his family dental practice on Woodruff Road in 1987. His philosophy was simple. “Treat people right,” as he likes to phrase it. Our entire staff shares this basic principle. Giving people the finest quality care in a comfortable setting with state of the art technology is what we are about. We have never been about the “glitz and glitter” or the “dental spa” experience. We’re about relationships; relationships that last years and, in many cases, generations. During any visit to us, it quickly becomes obvious that we really like each other and truly love working here. We love being surrounded by fellow staff members that all share the same passion for service to our patients. We treat our patients the way that we would want to be treated. It is upon this simple principle that one of the most successful practices in the southeast is built.
In 2002, Dr. Halbert’s vision of a second office more conveniently located for our many patients in southern Greenville and northern Laurens counties became a reality. Our current location in Simpsonville near the intersection of Harrison Bridge and Fairview roads is a product of that vision and has grown exponentially every year. Dr. Halbert sold the original office in 2005 and now practices solely in Simpsonville.
Our reputation has placed us in high demand as a “mentor” for young dentists in the state. We have welcomed many associate dentists over the years that have joined us out of respect for our patient care philosophy. Many have carried this over to their own practices from South Carolina to Kentucky. Several have gone on to specialize in fields such as pediatrics, prosthetics, and oral surgery. One thing that they all have in common is their exposure to the clinical excellence and the highest level of patient service found here at Tylan Creek Family Dentistry. They have been shown how to “treat people right!”
